Job Description

  • Processing of Journal entries related to fixed assets and intercompany transactions
  • Reconciliation of fixed assets / intercompany balance sheet accounts
  • Monitoring, analysis and clear out of balances for global I / C balances
  • Preparing of documentation for I / C cash transfers
  • Preparing audit schedules related to FA & I / C and assist the auditors in their inquiries
  • Creating and monitoring a system of controls, procedures and forms for the reordation of fixed assets and intercompany
  • Recording fixed assets acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system
  • Calculating depreciation for fixed assets
  • Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation
  • Investigating the potential obsolescence of fixed assets / intercompany
  • Conduct analyses related to fixed assets / intercompany requested by management
  • Preparing Accounting Operating Review Schedules
  • Redesigning and improving existing FOC processes to increase productivity while maintaining quality and controls
  • Ensuring documentation of all processes is in place
  • Highlighting potential issues to management team's attention
  • Other ad hoc tasks as determined by the GL Manager / Team Lead
  • Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance / accounting field
  • Masters Degree in Economy / Finance / Accounting
  • Excellent English / Polish / language verbal and written communication skills required. Other languages an advantage.
  • Strong analytical / problem solving, and influencing skills required.
  • Able to work under pressure and deal with various organizations / cultures
  • PC Skills are required- Windows NT, Word, Excel
  • Oracle Financial Systems experience a distinct advantage
  • Experience in quality or cycle time improvement efforts is a plus
