Due to our R&D department development we are currently looking for an experienced R&D Specialist, Packaging (f / m / d), located in Stargard, Poland.

With reference to R&D Manager in Stargard you will join a team of highly skilled colleagues in R&D PLM group. The PLM team (Product Lifecycle Management) deals with products present on the market, such as redesign to handle end of life components, adaptation to new regulations, standards and addressing quality, customer and cost issues.

On this position you will be supporting and running wide variety of tasks and projects related to cost optimization of medical packaging for new and existing Radiometer products.

You will work closely with your colleagues from Poland and Denmark.

To become successful, you should feel strong in mechanical / materials engineering and task coordination in relatively small projects.

You should also be ready for crafting and updating product documentation.

Your main responsibilities and tasks will include :

  • Working with requirements and specifications for packaging materials (cardboards & temperature control materials).
  • Optimizing packaging materials, design & processes from cost perspective.
  • Planning and execution on verification and validation of product packaging.
  • Building expertise on standards and regulations related to medical packaging.
  • Cooperating with packaging material suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Running tasks and projects in international environment.
  • Running engineering change orders (ECR / ECO).
  • To be successful in this role you need :

  • Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) education background.
  • Proven experience in the field of product / packaging development and / or maintenance activities.
  • Working languages : English and Polish.
  • Proficient English in writing & reading (B2 / C1).
  • Experience in coordination of tasks and partner alignment in international projects' environment.
  • Experience in working with product packaging (primary and secondary), preferably within medical devices.
  • Work with requirements, specifications and product documentation.
  • Good practice of MS Office package.
  • Travel up to 20-30 days of travelling per year mainly to Denmark (after Covid-19 restrictions are removed).
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking, data analysis, problem solving, research.
