What you’ll do

Delivering an ongoing feature-set within a complete web application

Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Coordinating with the user interface design team to build an effective and achievable result

Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API

Communicating with external web services

What’s required

Proficiency in Angular

Proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+), CSS (Flexbox / CSS Grid a plus), and HTML5

Deep knowledge of JavaScript / ES6 practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience

Professional, precise communication skills

Thorough understanding of asynchronous mechanisms used in the modern web development (Promises, Observables, etc)

Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components

Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects

Knowledge of 3rd party grid and charting tools (e.g. ag-grid, Highcharts) a plus

Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system

Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback

Experience with coordinating with server infrastructure for delivering front-end app and assets

Architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners (e.g. webpack, browserify, gulp)

Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks

Creating e2e test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or a well reasoned alternative)

Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
