party agreements during the fulfilment phase.

Role summary :

The open position is part of SVM’s Procurement Wroclaw team, which is responsible for :

  • Leading and executing high volume type commercial sourcing and procurement transactions.
  • Partnering with respective Strategic Sourcing Category colleagues and CS departments to execute procurement and sourcing efforts within the Real Estate and Facility Management spend categories both globally and for local Poland engagements.
  • A key part of the role includes developing and maintaining successful relationships with suppliers, peers and internal business partners on a global basis.

    Responsibilities :

  • You handle and execute a portfolio of sourcing projects related to Real Estate area (incl. Construction), as well as Facility Management, Workplace Products, Travel, Archiving, etc.
  • where sourcing is understood as : defining requirements with requestor, nominating potential suppliers, leading RFX processes, negotiating commercial conditions and contract drafting, onboarding awarded supplier.

  • You take full ownership of designated areas / categories (being proactive and self-reliant), develop credibility and operate as a subject matter expert and Trusted Advisor for Real Estate and become the first point of contact for the business partners with respect to the vendors and related sourcing activities.
  • You manage own book of work and assure quality and effectiveness of individual or team level deliverables.
  • You take active part in defining category strategy by providing respective inputs as contributor and, over time, be fully responsible for drafting sub-category strategy.
  • You collaborate with other SVM regions and teams to ensure integrated delivery of sourcing support.
  • You establish, manage and develop a capable supply base for designated sub-category requirements ensuring uninterrupted supply of goods or services, delivered in a cost effective and quality manner.
  • You conduct periodic market research for assigned sub-categories to include monitoring of market trends and supply / demand factors, technology advancements, legal dictates and communications to help in the decision-
  • making process to meet the strategic goals of the organization.

  • You establish regular communications with the key stakeholders, to ensure agreement and adoption of sub-category strategies, ongoing review of activities undertaken and maintenance of strong client service.
  • Open to discussing flexible / agile working.

  • You have minimum 3 year experience in Sourcing / Procurement or on the business side in Real Estate and Facility Management area.
  • You are fluent in English; German would be an asset.
  • You have strong negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • You posses experience or deep understanding of electronic procurement tools and how to analyze a category cost structure.
  • You have experience working within strong compliance and regulatory culture, driving policies and procedures, both internally and externally.
  • You are happy to take initiative, control culture and have deep understanding of Supplier Screening programs with the ability to evaluate and mitigate any associated potential business risk.
  • You are highly motivated self starter with strong analytical skills to understand demand patterns and demand strategies and have strong presentation skills, including experience using Excel and PowerPoint to support analytical techniques and presentation of data.
  • You have an excellent communication skills (verbal & written), including ability to articulate complex ideas in concise, easy-
  • to-understand business terms to senior executives.

  • You work in collaborative style, including experience navigating through matrix organizational responsibilities, organizational change and you are open to dealing with various different cultures and time zones.
