Job description

The key account manager acts as single point of contact to customers for Agfa products & solutions and is responsible for identifying opportunities, creating an account strategy, coordinating and controlling the sales process, managing customer expectations and negotiating contracts.

In addition, KAM acts as pre-sales consultant for the agents and dealers.

As a Key Account Manager you are responsible for :

  • Coordinating and control sales processes
  • Accompanying prospective customers from first contact to closing of contract
  • Creating commercial proposals using the available tools for own accounts and local accounts (for agents, dealers)
  • Explaining and demonstrating the sold products / solutions and think strategically with the customer
  • Managing customer expectations during proposal & negotiation phase
  • Creating and executing the account strategy, in order to secure the installed customer base
  • Acting as a single point of contact to assigned customer base for Agfa products & services
  • The customer satisfaction, maintaining our brand credibility and the customers’ trust in Agfa products & services
  • Being a Local product management
  • What you offer us :

  • You hold a Bachelor or a Master degree in a Medical, Economical or Technical field
  • You have 3 years ofexperience with direct technical sales in a complex sales organization environment with multiple stakeholders .
  • Experience in radiology field would be a strong asset

  • As a strong team player you are able to maintain a high level of quality in a continually changing environment
  • You have an excellent track record in achieving your sales goals
  • You have an analytical mind and a solid process orientation
  • You have good communication skills (written and oral) in English
  • Driving license cat. B
