Statutory and Tax Reporting Specialist

Your responsibilities
Timely preparation of the annual financial statements according to local GAAP in various jurisdictions including Poland, Germany,
France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, UK, Italy or Hungary
Cooperation with external statutory auditors
Timely submission of statistical and governmental reports
Preparation and timely filling of VAT and Intrastat returns in various jurisdictions
Calculation of deferred taxes and ensuring their proper presentation in financial statements
Enhance knowledge on accounting matters and principles under US GAAP, IFRS and other local GAAP
Interpret local accounting rules, IFRS and US GAAP in order to identify differences and properly issue accounting guideline
Our requirements
Experience in reporting VAT including government interactions (contacting tax authorities) in at least one of the following jurisdictions :
Poland, Germany, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, UK, Italy, Hungary
General knowledge of current and deferred income tax how to calculate and prepare return
Previous direct involvement in process of annual financial statement and / or group reporting packages preparation
Ability to interpret local accounting rules & knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP in order to identify differences and properly issue accounting
