Your field of responsibility

We are looking for an experienced person to join our Mainframe DevOps team in Warsaw. We are engineers working with applications and components around Mainframe Development Tools.

  • An interesting position as Mainframe System Engineer with the responsibility to design, develop / install, customize, test, debug, optimize and support our Mainframe Development products.
  • An opportunity to take a lead role in projects and provide technical expertise for product delivery including packaging, installation and configuration.
  • Lead and participate in incident analysis and provide root cause updates to management.

  • Chance to define specifications for complex operating software applications and / or modify existing complex applications using engineering releases and utilities from the vendor.
  • Writing technical documentation including design docs, training materials and opportunity to give presentations.
  • Being part of this team allows you to collaborate with different teams worldwide and take part on high importance projects within Credit Suisse group wide range.
  • Your skills and experience

  • Hold University degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications.
  • Results-oriented with positive approach and getting things done attitude.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Strong operational experience in a senior or technical leadership role.
  • Solid experience with Mainframe MVS concepts, facilities, utilities, JCL, and catalogued procedures; experience with TSO and ISPF.
  • Experience with Eclipse and Jenkins is a plus.

  • Programming experience with REXX or PL / I. Assembler knowledge is a plus.
  • Demonstrate competence in software development and / or scripting.
  • Proven experience in system engineering with Mainframe Development vendor products.
  • Experience with Compuware and IBM vendor products is a plus.
  • Experience with working in different time zones and teams with varied strengths.
