The Remote Administrator role is atechnical one providing second and third level of support for the banks Virtualand Remote systems globally within Group CTO EUS Workspace Access

An opportunity to be part of a veryexperienced team and to work in a global workspace with various experienced ITteams on a day-to-day basis to keep production environment stable and ensureoperational readiness for the IT components (Citrix XenApp, Netscaler,StoreFront, BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management)

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will diagnose and resolve real-time incidents including performance issues of the XenApp published applications being migrated to the new generation platform.

  • They will also execute planned support activities and maintenance including application / infrastructure changes related to StoreFront / Netscaler components and BlackBerry UEM components The candidate will be also collaborating with resources in other regions;
  • collectively providing transparent day-to-day production support for the virtual desktop estate located all world.

    The main objectives of the role are to provide fast and efficient resolution for alerted events / errors and timely execution of user requested changes / requests during day-to-day responsibilities.

    Overview of the department / team (team size, backgrounds, personalities ) :

    Workspace Access Operations Team is the 3rd level (escalations) Team based in Poland, India and Switzerland providing daily support of the Bank’s Virtual and Remote systems and maintaining the backend infrastructure on a global basis.

    Team structure is as follows :

  • 7 members working out of Poland (Wroclaw)
  • 3 members based in India (Pune)
  • Support area, Citrix components :

  • Netscaler
  • Citrix StoreFront
  • XenApp 6.5 / 7.1x
  • BlackBerry component :

  • Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)
  • Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role :

    The successful candidate will beencouraged to provide first class value add services including execution ofproject work, deep dive investigations and consultancy to a diverse client baseincorporating Front and Back office business units

  • Knowledge and experience with Citrix environment (intermediate level) :

  • Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and IT Good Practice (e.g. ITIL). Certification would be an advantage
  • A good knowledge of the following Microsoft products : Powershell, Windows 7 / 10, MS Office,
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 / 2016
  • A good understanding of network topologies, TCP / IP and general networking
  • A positive attitude and an ability to learn new products
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the following products is a bonus but not required : , ServiceNow, SharePoint, Ivanti / AppSense management
