  • Deploy the BU Quality strategy, vision, goals, objectives and metrics
  • Create the overall direction for consistent quality methodologies, processes, and procedures
  • Develop and deploy BU Global Business Process Management system
  • Drive process improvement and leverage Lean Six Sigma methodologies for effective process definition, measurement, and controls
  • Evaluate processes in terms of documentation and performance
  • Manage cross-functional teams to identify business process improvement opportunities
  • Develop of global quality system ensuring adherence to internal audit and regulation standards
  • Support Process Owners with identification and measurement processes performance targets
  • Assist and support the transformation of the RM BU business processes from a reactive to proactive businesses
  • Document and evaluate current and to-be processes including flow chart, value stream maps, performance metrics, job descriptions, systems and tools in order to optimize quality of process performance.
  • Network with industry thought leaders to determine best practices and ideas from outside of ABB
  • Provide proactive support of BU with focus on early identification and prevention of the issues (standard and applied risk analysis)
  • Manage development of team members through the ABB personal development process and identify developments actions and trainings in accordance with HR department
  • Requirements :

  • BS / BA in Quality or Engineering or Business
  • 5+ years’ experience of progressive growth in quality leadership roles
  • Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 standard - practitioner
  • Experienced in process development methodologies (BPMS) and process deployment in complex organizations
  • Ability to evaluate complex business processes
  • Proven ability to formulate, create , and manage business process based proof of concept systems
  • Experience managing and influencing a team of Quality managers and cross-functional leaders in a large, multinational organization
  • Strong collaborator and cultural sensitivity skills
  • Must have a sense of urgency for change and improvement, and a balanced approach to risk taking and achieving results
  • The ability to see the big picture , and a bias / determination to optimize operational performance
  • Executive level communication skills and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence in a cross-functional, matrixed, team environment
  • Self-driven and motivated, upwardly mobile and able to interface with technical and business experts, manage multiple projects, and perform as a productive team leader and individual contributor
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiatives from concept to action, and delivering positive results
  • Flexibility to travel up to 30%
