Prepare monthly Control Review Meeting materials with Group Operations senior management.
Review existing risk metrics and targets to ensure that risk is appropriately measured and look to define or improve new metrics / targets as necessary.
Develop and cultivate relationships with senior members of line management to understand & improve their control environment.
Communicate and monitor identified risk issues and suggest / track appropriate corrective action.
Work with direct managers to support Audit / Regulatory Examinations, internal RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) and associated follow up actions.
Identify and ensure operational incidents / losses, reporting timely in the Firm’s incident / loss monitoring system and risk assess each event to ensure appropriate remediation action is taken.
Perform regular thematic read across to ensure risk is mitigated across other processes.
Complete prioritized "Operations Risk Assessments" reviews as required.
Assess and understand new business proposals from the business and assess and evaluate impact to various Operational groups.
Open to discussing flexible / agile working.
You are highly motivated, with in-depth Operational Risk experience or a proven track record in a non Operational risk discipline (e.
g. Operations, Internal Audit).
You possess intermediate Powerpoint & Word skills.
You have advanced communication skills - to articulate complex risk proposals in a structured, targeted and impactful manner.
You possess an inquisitive mindset with a desire to build professional relationships at all levels within the firm.
Having a degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting discipline preferred but not essential.
