The Payroll team consists of a group of professionals that are responsible for the processing, accounting, taxation and management of the Firm’s global payrolls.
In addition, the candidate is expected to have the capacity to develop professionally and build leadership skills to assume increased responsibilities in the department over time.

What you’ll do
Preparation and review of semi-monthly multi-state U.S. payrolls
Assist in the analysis of U.S. taxes and W2 reporting to ensure compliance with regulations
Preparation of monthly international payrolls including coordination with local country vendors
Review and identification of changes in local country taxes and social charges; work with external firm to verify appropriate treatment by local vendors
Prepare management reporting for salary and other compensation expenses
Prepare analysis, management reports, and run / prepare reports and analysis for ad-hoc requests
Work with payroll software vendor in the implementation of system updates
Respond to questions / inquiries related to employee paychecks, management inquiries, accounting and tax requests as needed.
Support all Quarterly and Annual wage / tax reporting requirements for Domestic and International Payroll.
Pro-actively assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements
Work closely with Human Resource, Corporate Accounting, Tax and Traders Compensation departments to ensure coordination of payment and tax information
Collaborate with the U.S. team timely and effectively while managing U.S. time zone requirements and escalating potential issues proactively
Assist in the monthly close process by performing balance sheet reconciliations, identification and explanation of variances and preparation of journal entries
Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines
What’s required :
Candidates should have 1 - 3 years of finance and accounting experience. Experience in Payroll is desirable, but not a requirement.
Workday Financial Management system knowledge a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but other academic backgrounds will be considered
Strong proficiency in computer skills / experience including advanced Excel skills with knowledge of VLOOKUP’s, sum ifs and pivot tables
Strong communication skills (English language verbal and writing skills); proficiencies with other languages a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Skillful problem solver, resourceful, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and has strong attention to detail
Strong quantitative analytical skills, familiarity with data analysis and database tools highly desirable
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Strong relationship and customer management skills
Self-motivated, self-reliant with a hands-on approach
