Project Engineer

Location : Stary Gostków

Temporary Replacement : 24 months

What this position is about - Purpose :

The person in this position will be involved in field and office engineering work activities related to planning, design, construction and maintenance of capital improvements projects.

The role covers traffic safety and daily department operations, including preparation of basic designs, specifications, plans, estimations and reports for the development and modification of the main project.

This position requires taking full responsibility for engineering projects.

What will you do - Responsibilities :

Work as a Project Engineer on routine and complex projects including defining project scope, selecting consultants, changing orders, keeping deadlines, as well as monitoring, reviewing and coordinating project design;

monitoring contractors’ work and delivery, involving also other units to participate in the project

Lead and develop projects, including preparation of basic design, specification, plans, estimations and reports for the development and modification of the main project

Manage engineering projects in line with global engineering guidelines

Represent Engineering Department during the meetings with local authorities, companies and representatives

Prepare routine plans, design, specification, estimations and reports, including equipment data, determining required materials and funding possibilities

Provide engineering expertise reports

Review development plans submitted by developers, landowners and engineers for adequacy of application and compare them with plans and specification

Provide technical advice to contractors in line with general public policies, codes and regulations

Select consultants, negotiate contracts with contractors and subcontractors and monitor their work onsite. Develop request for proposals and initiate tender process, evaluate the bids and recommend contractors

Who are we looking for - Requirements :

Master degree in engineering

3+ years of professional experience in a similar managerial position or in project management

English language for effective verbal and written communication

Command in Polish is a must

Excellent knowledge of computer programs as Word, Excel, Power Point

Excellent project management skills

Excellent in communication & negotiation skills

Very good organizational and planning skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
