DESCRIPTION

Currently we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer for our Krakow office.

Do you like to deliver complex solutions on which others build their applications? Are you interested in having a bigger picture on an entire IT system?

Do you like to make a difference?

You’ll be working in the Molecular Data Streaming team in Krakow. Our main goal is to provide data platform for dozens of tenants.

We’re building solutions and provide best practices and templates, based on thorough analysis of client demands and our expertise.

Responsibilities

Be part of cross-functional engineering team

Proactively develop our platform (built mostly on Kafka, Fink and ELK)

Be a part of center of excellence for an entire bank division

Provide support for dozens of tenants and their use cases

Help automate onboarding processes

Work on ensuring stability and stellar performance of our platform

Requirements

Knowledge of JVM based languages (preferably JAVA)

Expertise in continuous integration tools

Experience with Apache Kafka

Experience with Apache Flink

Experience with Docker

Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)

Knowledge of GIT

Knowledge of authentication systems, security certificates

Focused on quality

An excellent communicator

Aware of on-going technology trends and know pragmatically leverage their benefits

A quick learner

Comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Fluent in English

Nice to have

Experience with Azure, Containerization and Orchestration via Kubernetes
