As an Embedded Software Validation Engineer you will strengthen our Electric Vehicle Charging Department. Our goal is to lay a foundation for the future of smarter, reliable and emission-free mobility.

We do this from Kraków, where in Old Town over twenty years ago we placed our center of innovation. We are actively collaborating with teams based in the Netherlands, Italy, China and the United States.

We are looking for an Embedded Software Validation Engineer who is a great team player with excellent communication skills and who is able to assure quality on software and hardware components.

You will join the Team that provides complex charging systems for electric cars, especially e-buses and e-trucks, with the best software and hardware.

You will perform various tests to ensure that software runs correctly on charging systems for electric vehicles and based on that you will provide input for software improvements, validation and better reliability.

Your responsibilities

  • Performing tests on charging system components as soon as all features have been bundled in a software release,
  • Identifying integration issues between installed hardware and software releases,
  • Contributing to development ideas with Software and Hardware Architects on serviceability and safety of integrated systems.
  • Performing embedded software tests and improving performance of Heavy Vehicle Chargers,
  • Collaborating with Software Developers and Testers in different locations (the Netherlands, Italy and others).
  • Your background

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Automatics or related engineering field.
  • Over 3 years of professional experience as an Embedded Test Engineer or Software Test Engineer or Embedded Software Developer preferably within an electrical engineering environment.
  • Sound knowledge of embedded C++, Python and Linux with Shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of debugging embedded systems with target hardware.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols, including CAN bus, TCP / IP with diagnostics (i.e. Iperf, Wireshark, PCAN).
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering, measurement equipment and circuits.
  • A collaborative, solution and quality-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
