Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation :

To provide up to date sell through information with relevant analysis to the sales team.

To consolidate up to date sell through information from our most important customers across the Zone East with relevant analysis to internal stakeholders.

To drive the development of supply initiatives for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Produce weekly R.O.S (rate of sales) reports for selected accounts
  • Analyse the weekly sales data from customers and report back to the business each week with recommendations, highlighting market trends
  • Produce rolling trackers for specific key accounts to capture key activities and events and understand variations year on year
  • Produce monthly category overview for selected key accounts
  • Produce product and category level sales reports when required by the business
  • Work in conjunction with Sales directors / managers to identify risks or opportunities to the order book at category / article level due to current sell out trend and highlight to sales managers for quick decision making
  • Drive recommendations for additional daily business in co-operation with the sales team
  • Support Sales teams, Coaches with ad hoc queries relating to category plans, sell out data and internal sales forecasting
  • Look to improve sales information issued to senior sales teams through systems such as EDI, Microstrategy, SPS
  • Work with CTC, Omnichannel and Sales Category Champions to track significant campaigns or new product launches
  • Support Sales teams with PowerPoint presentations related to order book analysis; sell out data and product performance updates.
  • Act as key contact to work with GTM, Sales and Customer Service to ensure East allocations are managed and monitored
  • Authorities :

    Have access to SAP, MSTR, SPS and any other retailer’s systems.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Strong IT skills across all applications, particularly excel to advanced knowledge level
  • Strong Analytical and numerical skills
  • BI Tools experience
  • SQL at least basic knowledge
  • Understanding basic Database concepts
  • Strong communication skills : written, oral and presentation
  • Ability to build strong relationships around the businesses
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail analytics / planning / buying or related field
  • Proven experience in financial and / or operational reporting and analysis with progressive responsibility
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; Access skills a plus
  • Solid understanding of retail math, key business drivers
