AIM OF THE ROLE
As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of technical services delivered to operations within Lionbridge.
The business unit is called Technical Services and provides technical support to localization and translation Teams in Lionbridge.
The Team consists of approx. 100 FTE's (including the Localization Engineering Team, the Desktop Publishing Team, the Multimedia Localization Team, and the Architects and Solution Managers Team).
As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, proper quality, expertise, and cost-efficiency of a managed group of technical services which involves overseeing and managing various teams and sets of projects.
Your accountability will include planning and ensuring business continuity as well as providing long-term vision, strategy, and standards for the Technical Services team.
Details of your accountability :
Actively lead the team of approx. 100 FTE's (recruit, manage, train, and develop staff)
Develop strong employee engagement, align direction and standards with company goals
Proactively manage delivery of all technical solutions; manage day-to-day production tasks using data-driven approach;
implement innovative processes and technology
Execute the corporate initiatives including company best practices, automation, process improvement, etc.
Promote customer service approach
Uphold internal company standards according to local culture and existing work ethics
Min. 3+ years in a people manager role with e xperience in managing a team of 30+ FTE's
Experience in collaborating with global teams
Fluent English knowledge
Proven achievements in successfully managing and retaining high-performing employees

Experience in customer-oriented or services companies
Creative problem-solving attitude
Strong communication skills
Experience in technical domain with strong localization / testing background is an asset
