DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience with most of the technologies listed below.

Responsibilities

Work with product owner, development team and architects to define test strategy

Leverage an existing automation test architecture or build automation architecture from scratch

Write functional, integration and acceptance test cases

Write non-functional test cases

Execute the test cases manually

Automate the test cases for regression testing

Plans and executes automation tasks and ensures testing standards are followed within team

Integrate test cycles with DevOps pipeline

Evaluate tools and technology, recommend framework and ability to do proof of concept

Work creatively and efficiently in troubleshooting and resolution of system issues

Ability to automate testing for back end services (REST APIs) and Database migration

Defects documentation, tracking, prioritization, and reporting

Test data and test environment management

Test script version management

Define, capture and report testing metrics

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar; Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics a plus

5+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance of which at least 3+ years of experience in test automation development or combination of development and testing experience using : Cucumber RestAssured Appache clients libraries HP Quick Test Professional Selenium Webdriver

Understanding of AWS cloud data stack, Postman, SOAP UI

Experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts to ensure information systems services and programs meet acceptance criteria

Experience in agile methodology

Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines

Strong analytical skills

Ability to multi-task and Strong attention to detail

Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and analytical skills required

Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle

Must have experience testing back end (microservices / APIs)

Excellent experience with functional, integration, regression testing

Experience in writing unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Experience in test automation using BDD tools

Ability to create test automation frameworks from scratch

Ability to prepare architecture and write well-structured code

Knowledge of manual testing on a good level

Experience in integrating the test suite with CI / CD pipeline

Knowledge of Java, JavaScript or Python is a plus

Working knowledge of RDBMS and NOSQL

Good experience with SQL, PL / SQL

Soft Skills : Excellent communication and documentation skills English is B2 or higher Client facing Ability to remove the fuzziness, deal with ambiguity
