You will be reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager and you will work closely with the Central Europe Marketing Team & Balkans, Baltics & CIS region Sales Teams, to win in all trade channels and markets in the most effective way including local regional brand activities.

Regional Customer Marketing Manager Balkans is responsible for sales & margin growth via executing marketing campaigns and developing shopper marketing activities to win in all trade channels and markets in the most effective way including regional brand activities.

Countries : Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia (other may apply).

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to :

  • Define KBD & category fundamentals per channel and market to win across all trade channels / markets and monitor execution
  • Communicate effectively to the sales organization the marketing & trade marketing plans
  • Leverage data to develop trade plans of implementation execution of product & promotion initiatives
  • Understand customers & channels better than our own organization
  • Understand competitors better than our own organization
  • Deliver a winning plan of initiatives across the portfolio
  • Develop and optimise the efficiency of promotional & merchandising activities
  • Develop & monitor execution of 5P mix for respective region
  • Plan, monitor regularly and optimize promotional budget spending. Follow priorities in resources allocation.
  • Prepare shopper & trade argumentations & tools for supporting the brand sales. Leverage the Brand Strategy International / Hub design and in line with the brand objectives and identity.
  • Analyse and report market data to marketing & sales team to monitor & drive category & brand development via regular & ad-hoc summaries, presentations & recommendations.
  • Work with the Demand Planner within the forecasting process for ensuring effective forecasting of the portfolio and product supply within agreed accuracy levels
  • Manage the cooperation with external agencies (ATL, BTL, research, etc.), retailers / distributors counterparts and internal departments (sales, brand marketing, demand planning, finance)
  • Monitor competitive environment, retailers’ environment, and shoppers’ behaviours / insights to recommend needed actions
  • Develop Market specific activities eg. SKUs, promotions, brand building etc. to answer local specific requirements subject to financial, strategic and priority approval.
  • Work closely with PBG to maximize Branded and PBG sales.
  • Develop a strong expertise in managing Customers / Distributors in the respective region.
  • Optimize SKU portfolio within the respective region.
  • Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?

    Ideally you will have some Customer or Trade Marketing experience within a commercial, consumer goods or FMCG business. You must be fluent in English.

    Here’s what we are looking for :

  • Diploma or degree in a Marketing or Business-related subject
  • Over 6 years of good Customer / Shopper / Trade Marketing and / or Brand Marketing background gained within FMCG company, at least 3 years in managerial role.
  • Experience in managing all trade channels / respective markets, marketing budget planning & controlling & dealing with marketing agencies (BTL, research)
  • Sales experience would be appreciated
  • Fluent English and Polish (written and oral) essential
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Proactive Leadership
  • Strategic Thinking & Acting skills
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills
  • Strong Market & Commercial understanding Business Acumen
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Solid project management and organisational skills
