Key responsibilities :

To support the rapid growth of Industry X in Wroclaw, we are looking for Embedded Software Engineers with Set-Top-Box (STB) development experience to join our highly skilled teams.

Working as an Embedded Software Engineer, you will :

Design and develop software for the next generation of connected media products

Collaborate with clients, team members and project managers to solve complex technical challenges

Take part in architecture definition discussions

Develop comprehensive designs and test plans

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, electronics engineering or related fields

At least 3 years of working experience, including set-top-box embedded software development

In-depth knowledge of C / C++

Experience in embedded operating systems, Linux tools and compiler tools

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., bash, python)

Familiarity with CI / CD tools and technologies (e.g., git, Jenkins)

Basic knowledge of network and industrial communication protocols

Familiarity with audio / video / media playback and streaming

Digital TV-specific experience (e.g. A / V processing, conditional access, DRM) is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
