Job Description

Overview : Bosch Hybrid Cloud provides Bosch business units with best-fit services from private and public clouds. You will work on the program Bosch Hybrid Cloud as Java DevOps Engineer to build up new management tools for cloud services in an agile DevOps team.

Tasks :

Strong focus on development of microservices to manage the Bosch Hybrid Cloud

Involved in definition of software architecture, interfaces, and concepts

Support the DevOps process with development and deployment pipelines

Envision, implement, and support cloud management solutions

3rd level support for in-house solutions

Profile :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering or similar specialization / technical discipline

Intermediate to expert level experience in programming and scripting languages - Java (Spring Framework)

Experience in usage of software development tooling (for e.g. : GIT, Jenkins, etc.)

Organizational skills, oral and written communication skills

Willingness for continuous learning

Ability to work with minimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities and schedule, team-, target oriented, ability to understand business initiatives and work independently

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and proactive approach

Optional Skills :

Experience in the field of agile development and application operation in Cloud environments (DevOps)

Experience in other programming and scripting languages Python, GoLang

Basic experience in frontend development Angular, React

Knowledge in the field of Cloud Platform Development / Operations, system engineering or similar (For e.g., Cloud Foundry, Openstack / Openshift etc.)

Working knowledge with modern security concepts (OAuth, micro segmentation etc.)

Working knowledge with monitoring / logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Prometheus etc.)

Basic knowledge of major IT Infrastructure Technologies (Container Technologies Docker, Kubernetes etc.,)
