The department

Dentons Business Services EMEA is currently seeking a Junior Business Development Assistant to join our EMEA finance team providing finance support to our global legal member firms.

Our team of business services staff play a significant role in the success of Dentons, and we recruit staff into a wide variety of areas.

Here, we look for focused, flexible individuals from a variety of backgrounds who are team players. Previous experience within the legal sector is not essential.

We want to give everyone the opportunity to develop his or her potential fully and, therefore, provide support, training and encouragement to members of staff at all levels.


An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our UK&ME Marketing and Business Development Team to support the development of Dentons, the world's largest law firm.

You will be joining a vibrant and enthusiastic team of professionals tasked with taking the firm's BD efforts to the next level while engaging in some of the most interesting and challenging opportunities in the market.

You will have a great opportunity to work within an engaged team in a collegiate atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail oriented and quality focused.

You will welcome playing a vital role in supporting a dynamic, fast-paced global operation.


  • Support for external and internal marketing and business development activities and campaigns
  • Gather and assemble firm wide credentials and accolades using various data sources
  • Gather CV content and experience statements for existing staff and new joiners across the UK&ME team
  • Support with document production including PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist with preparation of directory and awards submissions (i.e. preparing submission templates, formatting submissions, etc.)
  • Undertake market, competitor and client research
  • Assist in general marketing and business development administration to ensure smooth running of key client activities
  • Maintain contact information on our CRM system (InterAction)
  • Experience, skills & knowledge

    Technical skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Very good command of English
  • PC literate with very good working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Personal skills / attributes
