We are hiring automation testers to be part of a greater team of software testers providing QC / QA services for a well-established Sports Streaming OTT platform, and other OTT platforms, launching in territories all over the world.

To support this growth and ensure successful delivery, we are growing our team and adding more automation tools and testers.

The successful applicant will be part of an ever-expanding global network of testers in countries including the US, UK, Chile, and Poland.

As part of the Testronic Platform and App team, you will be testing world-leading streaming services across web, mobile and TV platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  • Be a proactive contributor to a growing international team
  • Work with leads and management to successfully meet goals
  • Perform manual and automated testing of Video streaming platforms on a range of devices including Smart TV’s, Consoles, Computers, tablet and mobile phones
  • Ensure correct write-up (in English) or other capture of bugs, flaws and issues, and propose corrections to facilitate fixes and review write up of these reports from other team members
  • Provide a summary report accurately reporting project issues / faults
  • Maintain strong teamwork within the team by sharing pertinent information with other team members and aiming to achieve group targets
  • Present a professional and responsible image when interacting with clients
  • Encourage and solicit good communication and feedback from local team and report as needed to Project Manager
  • Proactively complete assigned tasks accurately and thoroughly, and within a specified timeframe to detect (and subsequently report on a daily basis) bugs, software flaws and design issues.
  • Attend regular mentoring and goal settings sessions with Line Manager

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Experience with tools like Selenium, Adobe JMeter, Gitlab, and / or others
  • Experience with Java scripting
  • Project management experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel if needed
  • Commercial experience as a tester or QA
  • Knowledge of software testing theory and software lifecycle
  • Experience of working with developers using an Agile approach
  • Practical knowledge of Jira, TestRail, or other version control system
  • Basic knowledge of Smart TV and mobile operating systems
  • Methodical approach to tasks with a good eye for detail
