Purpose

The Inside Sales Team is part of EMEAI Commercial Organization executing remote sales of consumables and minor accessories, supporting an existing database of customers in Western Europe.

The product portfolio includes consumables for Analytical product line (AA, MAS, LC, GC, IR, UV, ICP, TEA) (products and service - consumables).

The Inside Sales Specialist / / Associate is responsible for aftermarket business development in France with accountability for driving growth of consumables and minor accessories sales.

This shall be achieved by working with Customer Care, Service and Sales field teams, Product Specialists involving all activities which contribute to promotion and sales of entire consumable portfolio consistent with strategic business goals.

Additionally this position is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer and channel relationships and providing pre- and post-sales support.

This is an office based role.

Responsibilities :

  • maintaining and building relationships with existing customers mostly through telephone / email contact
  • acquiring new customers and building lasting relationships
  • conducting trade negotiations

  • implementation of the assumed sales plan in the entrusted area
  • constant deepening of knowledge about product areas and industry issues
  • conducting market analysis by acquiring information on clients' plans and needs
  • reporting on ongoing activities
  • Role Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar scientific field
  • Fluent French and very good English level
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Organized, methodical and able to multi-task
  • Good customer service ethic
  • Availability to travel
  • Excellent listening, communication, very good relationship skills
  • Results focused
