The Project Management team is responsible for ongoing change for client accounts post-implementation. The team drives organizational success, both internally and for our clients through project leadership and project management methods that reduce risk, minimize issues and ensure on time, on budget implementations that delight our clients and customers.
The Senior Project Manager is accountable for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, communicate, control, close).
Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
May communicate with other Senior Project Managers, Functional Area Manager, or Program Manager regarding status of specific projects.
As a Senior Project Manager, a typical day to include the following :
Owns successful completion of assigned projects using project methodology, processes and tools
Responsible for successfully completing project milestones and deliverables for all phases of the project
Accountable for project oversight and status reporting
Responsible for project specific Change Request Administration
Strictly follows the change control procedures to ensure that changes to scope / contract commitments are formally captured, estimated, boarded and implemented successfully
Responsible for implementing the project testing strategy
Assists in the oversight of the project’s budget, actuals and forecasts leveraging the Project Financial Management tool
Proactively identifies and manages issues, risks and actions; escalates as needed to avoid project impacts and delay
Remote work possible. US working hours (-6h)
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent project management and organizational skills including a keen attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, delegate, and prioritize tasks
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
5 - 7 years of experience in a similar role
PMP certification (desired)
Fluent skills : Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work in a fast-paced role, integrating across internal workstreams and effectively manage assigned responsibility area with assigned client partner
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
