The European financial centre is responsible for providing a wide range of business services to the European region, as part of a wider network of regional hubs around the globe.
These centres of expertise work together as a One Finance team to support GSK’s global operating model by delivering best in class services, sharing best practice and knowledge and working closely with other markets and colleagues, supported by our global headquarters in London.
We are currently searching for talented, motivated and adaptable individuals to join our growing Global Tax team based in the European financial centre, supporting a wide range of activities for the European region.
One of them is Governance and Risk Manager who will be responsible for managing Global Tax’s governance processes, including coordinating its risk management procedures, project management tracking and the management of global tax’s budget.
Key Responsibilities :
Organising and leading the Tax Risk Management Board and Tax Governance Board
Supporting the Global Tax Budget process including reporting on progress to the Head of Tax
Owner of the Global Tax Risk Register, Benefits Tracker, and other similar tools, coordinating input across the group
Owner of the tax project management framework and tracking of projects across tax
Consolidation and reporting of KPIs and metrics of key tax process performance
Support on departmental comms and stakeholder engagement
Degree level of education
3 years’ experience in project management, reporting, financial reporting, budgeting, risk management or other similar governance roles
