The Sourcing & VendorManagement (SVM) department is responsible for the bank's global sourcing andprocurement activities.
SVM optimally sources external goods and services forCredit Suisse (CS) by applying standard methodologies while mitigating keycommercial, contractual reputational risks to the Bank.
As a valued partner, westrive to work collaboratively with internal business partners and key vendorsto deliver increasingly high quality and efficient sourcing services throughcommercial-valued and risk-mitigated sourcing, analytical insights and marketexpertise, driving vendor innovation, supporting select third-party agreementsduring the fulfillment phase.
The role is responsible forleading software sourcing and purchasing initiatives in Procurement End User,Connectivity & Security Technology team, managing all applicable commercialand contractual aspects within the End User Services category globally.
Therole includes driving supply-side initiatives / projects related to End User,Connectivity & Security Technology and developing / maintaining positiverelationships with suppliers, peers, and internal business partners on a globalbasis.
To be successful, one mustbe able to :
Gain support and acceptance by demonstrating sourcing value to respective initiatives at senior levels within SVM and the wider CS organization;
C-level independent interaction required.
Coordinate execution of successful vendor contract negotiations for software products.
Manage an ambitious book of work and assure quality and effectiveness on individual and team level.
Develop credibility and operate as subject matter specialist for End User, Connectivity & Security Technology and become the first point of contact for the business partners with respect to Procurement End User, Connectivity & Security Technology.
Build effective and cooperative alliances externally with key vendors and manage directly those vendor relationships from a commercial perspective.
Ensure agreement and adoption of End User, Connectivity & Security Technology, category strategies, on-going review of activities undertaken and maintenance of strong client service.
Represent End User, Connectivity & Security Technology category and support others in the broader procurement category team.
Take full ownership of designated sub-categories; conduct periodic market research for assigned End User, Connectivity & Security Technology sub-categories.
You Offer
Minimum 5 years’ experience as in sourcing / procurement or in a specific End User services environment.
Prior experience in purchasing of software products.
Strong attention to details and negotiation skills.
Experience working within strong compliance and regulatory culture, driving policies and procedures, both internally and externally.
Strong problem solving, analytical skills, including the ability to understand demand patterns and demand strategies.
Strong presentation skills, including experience using Excel and PowerPoint to support analytical techniques and presentation of data.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English.
Experience navigating through matrix organizational responsibilities, organizational change and working across regions and teams.
Skilled in building positive working relationships.
Results-oriented, hands-on approach with capability to manage an increasing book of work over time and desire to personally accomplish goals and to help the company grow and prosper.
