Commercial Bank - Wholesale KYC Operations - Business Manager

Commercial Banking serves more than 30,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion.

Wholesale KYC Operations is a firm-wide utility supporting all Lines of Business in the completion of requirements to satisfy the firm’s Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.

We partner with Global Financial Crimes Compliance, all JPMorgan Lines of Business and their KYC Officers and Client Owners and other utilities such as Client List Screening and Client Reference Data Operations to support and maintain the integrity of our Client KYC information.

Job Description

Wholesale KYC Operations team is seeking a Senior KYC Operations Associate. The role is responsible for ascertaining that all KYC and AML policies are adhered to.

The KYC Operations Associate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently within a deadline, take initiative and adapt to change.

In addition, successful candidates are quick learners that will be able to readily understand banking and AML concepts and issues, exercise sound judgment and observe the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling information received in connection with their responsibilities.

The Commercial Banking Wholesale KYC Operations Business Manager will partner across the global team as well as Compliance and LOBs in support of the organization to aide in driving strategic decisions impacting governance, priorities, budget, forecast, controls, and overall direction of the group.

The role interacts extensively with the senior leads across organization, business leads, corporate support groups and peer group business managers across the firm.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
  • 6-7years of experience in project management, business & financial analysis & Reporting
  • Key skills : End to end Business P lanning, Analytics and Reporting. Additionally, following competencies are desirable :

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills & Stakeholder management expertise
  • Exhibiting strong organization skills, methodical thinking, innovation, and Project mgmt. skill set
  • Excellent skills in analysis and reporting. Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills, with good knowledge on data visualization platforms
  • Ability to manage matrixed reporting lines & partner effectively with diverse groups across geographies
  • Strong presentation & communication skills at all levels - confident and organized with the personality to challenge status quo & strong influencing skills
  • Creative self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership, work independently as well as with a team
  • Must demonstrate resourcefulness in finding solutions to problems
  • People management skills - proven leader with the ability to drive results & manage a diverse group (direct as well as matrixed)
  • Previous experience with Finance / Banking, Project Management and Business Management a plus
  • Knowledge of CIB products and functions will be an advantage
  • Ability to manage matrixed reporting lines & partner effectively with diverse groups across geographies
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide strong financial and business management support to WKO Operations Executive in Warsaw and Global business partners.
  • Assist WKO Warsaw Leaders in developing strategy and business plans, and in managing other day-to-day business management activities

  • Contribute to the definition and development of multi-year business roadmap
  • Business Reporting : Headcount, Location Strategy, Real Estate Capacity analysis, Monthly and periodic presentations for performance reports, forecasts, & plans, ad hoc reporting / analysis, Tracking Financial, Risk, Training, HR metrics.
  • Capable of deciphering, tracking & planning of project Financials, Financial plans, budgets etc. Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills, with good knowledge of MS Projects, Share-point & VISIO

  • Develop business plans and provide value added MIS and performance scorecards including periodic (weekly) financial and metrics reports, monthly forecasts, annual plans, reviews, and any ad hoc analysis
  • Prepare and drive monthly Town Halls, Business Reviews and Management meetings
  • Manage T&E budget, approval, and reconciliation process
