Your responsibilities
You will be member of a network operations team that provides 24 / 7 monitoring and a single point of Contact for all network related issues
Basic network troubleshooting
Solving network issues
Monitoring network devices like routers, switches, loadbalancers, wireless appliances (ICINGA system)
Managing of requests, problems, incidents, escalations when required
Implementing standards to the network environment
Communicating with network engineers, customers, providers, third parties
Our requirements
English and German on intermediate level (both spoken and written)
Practical knowledge / experience of IT and network solutions, devices and technologies
Knowledge of Networking concepts; LAN; WAN; TCP / IP; routers; switches; subnets; DMZ; Firewall.
Knowledge of Windows, Linux Operating Systems :
CCNA knowledge level, the certificate will be a plus
Ability to deal with multitasking issues
Excellent communication skills and the competence to work as a team member
Analytical and problem-solving approach
Readiness to work in shifts (24 / 7)
