We're now looking for a Solution Purchaser responsible for all purchasing activities related to one or several customer projects including materials and services.

The person might be located in Warsaw or South of Poland (Kraków / Katowice) and the purpose of his / her jobs will be to manage entire purchasing process IG (Intra Group) and OG (Outside Group) from supplier sourcing up till purchase order creation and goods / services execution.

Also, within Customer Project Execution center, he / she will support Tender and Execution operational teams in supply management on a portfolio of multi-business projects.

The role is dedicated to Middle Eastern Europe Cluster (MEE), supporting Schneider organizations in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

What will you do :

  • Define the specific purchasing strategy for the project, focusing on high stake / high risk commodities, continuously prioritizing tasks based on project time schedule.
  • Secure the supplier selection, being involved from tendering to the cash collection, integrating all specifications (cost, lead-time, technology, quality, flexibility, logistic, financing, and make or buy strategy).
  • Manage Request For Information (RFI), Request For Quotation (RFQ) and the bid tabulation (based on total cost of ownership (TCO)) with suppliers.
  • Assess risks on the supply chain and transfer / mitigate it as early as possible through audit, contractual clauses, supplier development plan.
  • Negotiate Terms & Conditions (T&C) with suppliers securing "back to back" and "If & When" conditions versus Schneider Electric customer conditions.
  • Contractualize with suppliers, managing potential claims with suppliers.

  • Integrate qualitative criteria to select suppliers (flexibility) and take opportunities of customer variation orders to continuously negotiate better suppliers’ conditions.
  • Manage the purchasing order process with an ethical approach, securing the assets from SE (based on corporate rules).
  • Secure the supply deliveries, managing the risk mitigation plans with suppliers and anticipating pro-actively all necessary actions.
  • Qualifications

    What will help you to be succesful :

  • University Bachelor Degree minimum
  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing
  • Experience in project environment and within a matrix organization is an advantage
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and interact in a matrix international organization
  • English language mandatory
  • Driving license and readiness for business travel
