The Role

RedCompass has built a strong reputation in Financial Services and broader sectors. Our public and client facing websites are key communication and service portals to ensure we keep in contact with our clients and provide access to the data they require.

We are looking for a web developer experienced in designing, implementing and maintaining web sites and content management systems to join our Engineering & Marketing projects.

As a RedCompass Web Developer you would :

work closely with our Marketing and our graphics designers to design, implement and maintain our multi-lingual public facing RedCompass websites

work closely with our engineering project teams to design, implement and maintain our client facing data access web portals for our industry leading capabilities

work with our solution architects to implement and maintain the services or infrastructure which underpin your websites and portals

contribute to the strategy and vision of the projects you work on

contribute to the on-going evolution of our development environment and agile processes

Do you have experience with some of these key technologies & activities?

Modern JavaScript frameworks and responsive design

Implementing & maintaining web service hosting and content management solutions in public cloud such or other SaaS solutions

Strong familiarity content management solutions like Django, Wagtail, Wordpress

Agile methodologies

Excellent communication skills (written & oral English) including the ability to communicate and present both at a technical and non-technical level

Further interests or experience you may have could include :

Version control (Git), container (Docker) and automated deployment technologies (Jenkins, Ansible)

Usability Trials and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Remote team working

Monitoring for applications and data quality

Test and Behaviour Driven Development methodologies

Appreciation of GDPR and ISO standards such as 27001 & 27017
