We make what matters work. Eaton Corporation has an opening for an eCommerce Specialist in its Commercial Operations Center of Excellence to aggressively drive enterprise digitization across electronic order platforms within Eaton’s Digital Customer Experience group.

These efforts are critical to both Eaton and our customers’ experience with Eaton. The primary responsibility of the incumbent is to define, manage and deliver eShop / eCommerce projects that align with Eaton’s business-driven initiative to increase automation of electronic order entry, order responses, shipment notifications and invoices.

Working directly with internal sales, IT and customer service teams, the eCommerce Specialist plays a central role in aligning all required internal and external resources to successfully deliver strategic eCommerce projects for our EMEA customers.

With a clear understanding of the business need behind each initiative, the incumbent creates user stories, detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for the life-cycle of a project, working with developers, UX designers and QA teams to deliver a successful outcome.

Key to our efforts in driving enterprise digitization, we leverage data from Google analytics to help identify eCommerce enhancement opportunities, enabling Eaton to drive incremental revenue growth, user engagement and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate requires experience in analyzing data to inform strategy, formulate relevant insights, and provide internal teams with actionable recommendations.

In addition, the eCommerce Specialist will draw upon a combination of eCommerce, EDI, IT analyst, project management, business development and customer relationship management skills to ensure success.

High attention to detail and appreciation for understanding of complex processes is essential. Your key deliverables : Cultivate in-depth functional & business process knowledge of Eaton’s eCommerce and EDI systems and capabilities Work in partnership with enterprise, divisional and regional business process owners to identify and drive opportunities Analyze in-depth analytics and sales data to identify key adoption targets and initiatives Build relationships and communicate directly with Eaton’s customers and business leaders to further their use of Eaton’s eCommerce capabilities Drive program goals through influence leadership Direct work across multiple resource teams to ensure a coordinated and prioritized approach Identify, develop, and institute best practices for adoption Incorporate Voice of Customer into eliminating adoption barriers and into developing external- and internal-facing communication Create and utilize key dashboards to measure and communicate progress / updates Identify and publicize opportunities to grow standard eCommerce and EDI capabilities and usage across businesses and geographic regions.

Develop business cases and strategies to address identified gaps or bottlenecks Ensure alignment between eCommerce and EDI teams to create optimal approach Leverage existing project methodologies and governance processes to align new or identified capabilities Ensure that proposed solutions are in-line with global solutions Participate in business process improvement committees as needed Interact adeptly with senior level leaders at multiple levels of our organization as well as with Eaton customer leadership.

Qualifications Bachelor Degree. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience (eCommerce / EDI, IT analyst, project management, business development, and / or customer relationship management).
