Working behind the scenes, you are responsible for enabling our development teams by maintaining and scaling parts of our infrastructure while focusing on overall systems like Kubernetes.
You will work collaboratively across the breadth of FRIDAY’s engineering teams.
You design, implement and maintain our Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS.
You work closely with our engineers from Warsaw and Berlin and help them understand how to use Kubernetes and related technologies.
You choose technologies best suited for solving our problems and influence & design our architecture.
You're taking responsibility for keeping our Kubernetes infrastructure running and are willing to be part of an on-call rotation.
A Cloud Platform Engineer (m / f / x) is a Software Engineer who solves complex problems. Additionally, you have knowledge about system-level aspects and networking.
LIST OF SKILLS
You have experience running distributed production systems.
You know how to build secure systems.
You have a good understanding of how Linux and containers work.
You have software development experience (ideally in Python or JVM languages).
You have excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills.
