Department / Team overview
The production Services, Workplace Technology Support team is responsible for the day to day technology support for the 50K + employees across the organisation.
Working hours As required to ensure the required service is provided. Mainly Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm with occasional weekends to support infrastructure changes.
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Production Services, Workplace Technology Regional Manager to join our team in Wroclaw.
As the Production Services, Workplace Technology Regional Manager, you will form part of a global team that manages the support for all End User Technology related issues and requests across the organisation.
Specifically, reporting to the Head of Production Services, Workplace technology EMEA, you will manage the support for multiple sites across mainland Europe, lead technology engineers to deliver a service to all business users in those locations and be the End user technology point of contact for the locations within Mainland Europe.
As a successful candidate you will be given opportunity to acquire and develop knowledge from related fields :
The OLA / SLA-based onsite support service for each site within region.
Hold a deep understanding of technologies and the current trends within your span of control.
Forming short to long term strategies on end user technology for the region, ensuring transformational change is implemented in a timely manner.
Ensure appropriate tools are available for the support team to conduct their role effectively, continually assessing fitness for purpose.
Building and maintaining strong, productive relationships with the business and acting as the responsible focal point for the delivery and support of technology services within region.
Manage staff behaviours, disciplinary action, hiring, rewarding,
Ensure compliance and administrative functions are completed on time and accurately,
Ensure governance is adhered to and manage risks to meet or exceed internal and external audit requirements (This includes all Production and Disaster Recovery environments).
Mentoring and coaching staff in behavioural skills concerned with communication to the business, third party suppliers and other areas of TSG.
5+ years in an end user technology support environment
Fluent English spoken and written (min. B2 level)
Good problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and experience within dealing with all levels of the organisation
Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive a team through continuous service improvement
Full time contract of employment
