About the project
As a medium-sized IT full outsourcing provider, we have been offering our customers a complete service on all IT topics for more than 30 years.
For this we are looking for you as a competent contact person for our customers for all questions in the database area. As a SQL server specialist (m / f / d) you will plan and maintain extensive database environments for our customers from various industries throughout Germany.
Your responsibilities
Administration of MS-SQL databases
Supervision of the instances
Qualified 2nd and 3rd level support
Establishment and monitoring of reliable backup & recovery solutions
Performance analysis and optimization
Design of databases
Database upgrades and database migrations

Our requirements
You understand complex database architectures and are able to create new designs in complex environments.
In principle, you are not satisfied with the simplest but only with the best solution and you are interested in continuously developing yourself professionally and keeping your finger on the pulse of the times.
You have the following knowledge and experience :
You have several years of experience in database administration
You have very good knowledge of SQL server (SQL 2014-2019)
You have experience in the area of backup & recovery and in data modeling
You have a good knowledge of T-SQL and SQL
You are team and service oriented
You speak English well, German would be an advantage
