for a new team member to join Tietoevry Banking’s growing AI product team within Credit solutions, to be part of shaping the future of applied AI and ML in the credit area.

As an MLOps / Data Engineer, you will be part of transforming ML models and algorithms into Business value, in essence productizing and deploying ML pipelines of new products, as well as enabling AI and ML applications in the Credit product portfolio.

This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a start-up-like culture within a bigger organization, to work in close collaboration with the centralized Data and AI team, and with multiple software product units internally.

As an MLOps / Data Engineer, you will work in a variety of settings to build ML systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into ML pipelines for machine learning solutions, deploy and monitor ML models in production and implement APIs for ML inferences.

Responsibilities

Acquire datasets that align with business ML use cases.

Develop algorithms to transform data for ML processing, create new data validation methods and data analysis tools.

Build, test, deploy and maintain data pipelines and ML models in systematic, automated and scalable approach.

Ensure and monitor reproducibility of models and predictions.

Collaborate with management to understand company objectives.

Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

Minimum requirements :

Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or equivalent majors.

Fluency in Python, especially in developing algorithms to transform data and deploy ML models.

At least 1 year experience in ML deployment, validations and monitoring and development of ML inferences and APIs.

At least 1 year experience of data engineering using tools such as SQL, spark, databricks.

For senior role, at least 3 years’ experience in above areas.

Fluency in English.

Additional bonus requirements

Experience in working with cloud environments, preferably Azure.

Knowledge of software engineering, containers, CI / CD, automated testing.

This position is based in Finland and requires background security clearance.
