For our Client, new international start- up company Point72 located in Warsaw, we are looking for Procurement Associate highly proficient in spoken and written English.
The Procurement team manages the purchasing process for Company and related entities to maximize cost savings and avoidance through negotiation and the use of RFPs (request for proposals) and vendor benchmarking.
The team also oversees the Firm’s travel agent to ensure compliance with travel policy and obtains the most favorable rates for hotels, airlines and other travel expenses and manages the Firm’s corporate and purchasing card programs and employee devices (e.g., cell phones).
Within this position you will interact with business owners, procurement and other cross-functional teams on a daily basis, understanding their procurement requirements and developing and implementing strategies to meet both short and long-term business objectives.
leverage the organization’s buying power to optimize costs, access new suppliers, reduce lead times, and guarantee supply.
Furthermore, as a Procurement Associate, you will negotiate, create and execute contracts (terms) with supplier, develop, issue and manage the process for bids / RFP (requests for proposal) process along with RFIs (requests for information), RFQs (requests for quotations) for products and services ,work with internal teams (Info security, compliance and tax, HR, accounts payable) to ensure that vendors are performing in accordance with existing requirements and regulatory obligations ,create and monitor purchase orders in the Procurement system and all associated activities up to payment to the supplier, including the resolution of performance and delivery issues, make improvements to processes, procedures, workflow, reporting and organizational structures for spend and contract management, Lead / assist on various procurement projects.
We are looking for Candidates with 4-5 years procurement / strategic sourcing experience, Experience preferred in maintenance, repair and operational procurement services including technology, telecommunications, facilities and business operations products and services.
Proficiency with PC software applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint .
