Project Management (advanced)

We are looking for an EU Customer Solution Manager. As part of the EU Customer Solution Architect team, you will be our specialist for leading RFP & RFI responses in the region for pursuits to ensure quality and timely solutions as a quoting outcome.

You will work with the EU Engineering, GES and GPO, as well as the Sales teams.

Your role

  • Work with Technical Account Director, Eng. Program Leader, Deal Captain to capture technical requirements for a pursuit
  • Work with sales with technical analysis of incoming customer inquiries and formulation of responses to the customer.
  • Influence customer product direction by understanding and representing Aptiv’s product roadmap.
  • Understanding customer specifications and distributing information within the proposal team.
  • Mapping of the customer specification to the Aptiv roadmap in order to provide the customer with a cost-optimized offer and give input to our APTIV product roadmap.
  • Coordinate needs analysis based on customer, Aptiv and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct consultations and workshops with customers to evaluate the realization of new products, designs and concepts.
  • Coordinate the creation of a cost optimized bill of materials (BOM) and estimate development costs for the various phases in the bidding process such as RFI, RFP or RFQ.
  • Your background

  • Engineering degree or similar
  • 5 years in product development
  • Project management experience, leading cross-functional teams preferred
  • Your key skills

  • Ability to lead from the front - Lead the pursuit team in the right direction with indefatigable energy
  • Highly accountable End to end pursuit management and responsibility to meet customer deadlines
  • Effective communication Information exchange needs to be precise and clear; Goals and expectations to team members need to be clearly communicated ;
