In order to support our sustainable growth, we are currently looking for a SENIOR CREDIT COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST (WITH GERMAN)

ROLE DESCRIPTION :

The Senior Credit Collections Specialist acts as a local bridge between the Credit Analyst team, the Commercial and the Supply chain organizations.

The key activity is to act as a focal point for both the Credit team and the local commercial staff in all credit overdue and receivable related activities.

Additionally, the Senior Credit Collections Specialist is responsible for all payment related issues for all customers under his / her responsibility.

Main responsibilities :

  • Responsibility for collections and issues resolution on his / her accounts receivable portfolio.
  • Monitoring the collection issues due to incorrect invoices.
  • Following the escalation process in place to ensure prompt issue resolution for his / her assigned portfolio.
  • Providing and reviewing a root cause analysis report related to payment issues
  • Responsibility for accounts clean up on balances, refunds, reconciliation of accounts, sending out account statements to customers.
  • Providing a quarterly 60 days overdue dispute management overview.
  • Monitoring the payment performance of the customers in the assigned portfolio and will present to sales payment delay issues.
  • Acting as internal focal point for all cash application matters and will liaise / support the AR team.
  • Managing blocked order release related to overdue items as well as oldest open items and checks failed.
  • Will be the prime contact with Sales, Pricing, Order Fulfillment and the Customers for all overdue and payment issue.
  • WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

  • Relevant finance / accounting qualification with 5 years’ experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Requires a degree of independence in completing job responsibilities prior to issue escalation.
  • Must be able to maintain professional relationships with Business, Pricing, and Sales groups.
  • Fluent English and German skills
  • Solid grasp of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of SAP is a preferred
