As a Marketing Operations Coordinator you will play a role in executing the growth and expansion of Groupon’s merchandising, loyalty, and customer lifecycle programs.

This role will be responsible for helping deliver products and services that drive value for the customer. This role is responsible for executing merchandising campaigns across all traffic channels -

especially in email, desktop, and mobile. Working closely with our Merchandising Specialists, you will be a crucial part of ensuring we are communicating effectively with our customers and providing them with a seamless shopping experience.

This role is part of a fun, diverse and dynamic North America Marketing Team and is critical to driving our marketing growth goals for the future.

You’ll spend your day working with marketing teams across digital channels, as well as coordinating among business teams to ensure a seamless end to end experience across email, site and mobile experiences.

You’ll spend time on the following :

Coordinate Merchandising and Groupon Select campaigns across email, push notification, and platform channels

Execute thematic and promotional campaigns, including banner placements, inventory curation, navigation updates, and other optimization

Build customer lifecycle campaigns that support onboarding, activation, repurchase, and reactivation programs

Build campaign audiences and incentives based on CRM details

Support various testing initiatives in email and push channels

Compile email file inputs from our copy, creative, merchandising, and revenue management teams

Submit Freshdesk tickets for weekly campaigns

Tag deal inventory to populate email campaigns and landing pages

Execute targeted offers in Groupon’s pricing and promotion engine

Configure landing pages for tentpole campaigns and curated experiences

Review preflights of emails by checking banner links, landing pages, etc on both mobile and web

Ensure timely, high-quality content delivery that satisfies Groupon SLAs

Execute both proactive and reactive tasks based on evolving customer needs and compliance

Protect the customer experience 24 / 7 by reacting to item status changes in real time ( Shift work : 9 : 30-17 : 30, 11-19, 13-21 )

Requirements :

You have 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a consumer facing online / e-commerce role.

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience

You have a start up mentality and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can work on a variety of projects.

You have strong organizational, planning, quantitative, and problem solving skills; strategic and creative thinking with keen business judgment, focus, and ability to see the "big picture"

You have an extensive focus on analytic decision-making using data

You are a creative thinker and come up with innovative and effective ways to ensure all goals are met

You communicate effectively, both via keyboard and in person

You have experience working with cross-functional teams

You are proficient in English
