PRODUCT MANAGER Molecular Biology


Within the framework of Company guidelines and strategy, implement and design the marketing strategy for his / her portfolio products in order to maximize the business results in his / her territory and ensure the interface with corporate major function, monitor from A to Z the product life Cycle, from pre-

launch activities to termination, with proper feed-back on all market aspects : competition, regional / country Market trend. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support product life cycle including feed-backs and adjustments to local requirements
  • Ensure and maintain product knowledge and motivation
  • Bridge local and global organizations on sales, marketing and support aspects
  • Organize external events : symposium, customer visit and congresses, KOL networking
  • Ensure product knowledge and implement actions to maintain it (trainings & workshops)
  • Contribute to budget / Long Range Plan process, challenge and monitor the sales with local teams
  • Ensure coherence of the pricing policy, develop pricing structures for new & existing products in line with market conditions and competitor's activities.
  • Quote profitability according to bioMérieux standards


  • Degree in biology (BA), preferably in the field of the product scope, marketing degree is a plus
  • Alternatively education as Lab Technician in a routine Laboratory
  • Experience in Sales and / or Marketing 3 to 5 years minimum
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Good knowledge of lab environment
  • International mindset, ability to adjust in multicultural environment, good relational skills
  • Good ability for communication, team work and organization, networking within and outside the company
  • Mobility (app. 50%)
  • Financial indicators understanding Language :
  • Fluent in English Travel Time : 50%
