We are looking for outstanding candidates to join us as full-time Software Development Managers. Successful candidates will have led teams that solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices, building solutions that scaled and performed.

You will lead a diverse, geographically distributed Agile team at our development centre in Tel Aviv, Israel, launching and growing new initiatives for Amazon's advertising tech stack.
Your team will own the business, technology and operations, giving you the responsibility and authority to ensure success.
You will be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to software development across a variety of technologies.
Your systems will meet remarkably high standards of performance and reliability, and will operate at massive scale, 24x7.

Key job responsibilities
This role is suited to a manager with a strong technical background, ideally having previously worked as an engineer. You will lead a diverse engineering team and be expected to lead and contribute to design and technical solutions.
A day in the life
You will take on the Scrum Master responsibilities, leading the team to deliver a backlog of work groomed and prioritised according to the team and business requirements.
You will be involved in helping to innovate, design, improve and raise that bar in the technical deliverables, as well as looking for ways to improve operations and ways of working.
You will have the autonomy to lead the team and technology as you deem fit.
