The Data Platforms Group at Intel is at the heart

Data center technologies created in Intel's R&D Center in Gdańsk , Poland are being applied in wide range of products that are used in virtually every computing center that exists in the world, as well as integrated into products and services offered by Intel’s direct customers.

In this position you will :

Conduct and participate in multidisciplinary research / debug and collaborate with SW / FW / RTL design and external customer issues.

Define new system requirements.

Work with a partner for responding to customer / client requests or events as they occur in addition to defining long-term product changes.

Develop solutions to problems using judgment and formal process.

Make high-level design choices for the system and validation requirements.

Interact with multiple functionalities in the origination as well as between developer's teams and projects.

Qualifications

What is important for us :

Bachelor in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent plus about 7 years of experience, Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent plus 5 years of experience.

Experience in VLSI / ASIC / FPGA and system architecture definition.

Technical knowledge of Network Interface Controller architecture

Standards and / or Industry Consortiums experience.

Hands-on in Lab and debug capabilities

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

Technical knowledge of the Communication and Telecommunication market requirements and solutions

Experience with Ethernet switching, Cloud applications, RDMA, and Storage over Ethernet.

Technical knowledge of CPU architecture

Technical Knowledge of OS (Operating Systems) virtualization, Network virtualization, and tunneling protocols

Excellent customer communication and collaboration skills.

Marketing / planning to develop product requirements and customer use cases.

Ability to work in a multi-geographical development environment, coordinating with other architects, engineers, marketers, and planners.

Excellent verbal and written communication skill
