We are looking for a competent Network and Security Engineer who will take responsibility for the overall operational health (Security, Availability, Performance, Interoperability and Reliability) of our data communications systems.
You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network and security infrastructure and application components.
You will be a member of a team, working with the brightest engineers, focusing on network infrastructure, security, applications and services.
You will also be working closely with the DevOps and Engineering teams to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network and security infrastructure and hardware.
You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including firewalls, routers, switches and load balancers.
A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired.
Network and Security Engineer duties and responsibilities
Maintaining and administering LANs, WANs, related systems and applications software, hardware, and configurations.
Design and deploy company production including servers, routers, firewalls, load balancers, switches, and other hardware
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
Designing, configuring and testing networking and security systems software and hardware.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
Network Engineer requirements and qualifications
Previous working experience as a Network and Security Engineer for 3 year(s)
CCNP / CCIE / JNCIP / JNCIE / ACE or similar knowledge level
Experience with Arista / Cisco / Juniper / A10networks / Fortigate
STP, EtherChannel, VirtualChassis, L2 redundancy,802.1AD,VLANS, VXLAN
BGP,OSPF,HSRP,VRRP ,static and dynamic routing
L3 / L4 security Access lists, rules
Load-Balancing - A10Networks,Cisco (L4-L7),SSL offload
IPSEC in heterogeneous environment (between different vendors devices)
Good knowledge of AWS infrastructure - advantage
Network traffic analysis Sniffer, NetFlow / SFlow / Jflow, telemetry, SNMP
Experience with network monitoring tools
Previous experience with service providers / integrators significant advantage
IP protocols- DHCP,DNS, traffic engineering / shaping, NTP
WEB applications HTTP(S),FTP,SSH
Linux / Windows servers basic system skills
Experienced in high level and low level network design
Familiar with remote hands work procedures with foreign datacenters
A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
