Tenneco’s Powertrain and Clean Air Tech Centers around the globe require specific IT process support to ensure the efficiency of their engineers and support innovation.
The Engineering IT teams are accountable for the definition and implementation of solutions to support global Engineering processes.
These processes include Product Design (CAD), Analysis / Simulation (CAE) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) of Engineering data to and from our customers, as well as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
The Engineering IT group works closely with the Engineering business community and other IT groups to ensure processes are implemented as designed.
The Technical Systems Engineer role is responsible for installing and configuring standard or custom solutions. In addition, responsibilities include license management, maintaining application-specific user profiles and user support.
