Our Client is an international company from Retail sector. For their newly build structures in Poland we are looking to hire experienced candidate for the role of Head of Data

Your responsibilities

Analise and design all new data requirements in the company

Coordinate projects for new reports or information needs across the company

Lead and leverage the migration from the current Data Platform (SQL Server based) to the new ELT - Datalake-based scenario.

Take of requirements for BI projects / reports

Lead the design of new reports or dashboards to be delivered, adding value by proposing new views, segments, etc. to the Business areas.

Govern the ELTs, cubes and transformed tables, assuring that structured / transformed data is not replicated the least necessary tables or views.

Analysis and realization of ETL / ELT, Data models and reports (SQL Server, AWS Redshift and Tableau).

Understand eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Klaviyo, Lexer, Shippit) including how they architecturally integrate, and data flows occurs

Lead the design and delivery of the new Digital dashboards to be delivered across the next years

Ensure platform and feature availability (either proactively or reactively via support tickets)

Coordinate the support of the existing ETLs and reports

Resolve Incidents and Problem Tickets within SLA

Design the strategy for running scheduled / on demand QA tests to ensure the quality of data.

Identify key performance indicators and recommend actions for improving the business perform and (both offline and online

Working closely with cross functional teams

Leading a culture of experimentation and transformation, by putting the customer at the centre of everything you do

Employer requirements

University Degree.

At least two years of experience as Head of data

At least 5 years of experience in BI projects.

Knowledge of ETL / ELT, Modelling and Reporting.

Understanding of current data trends and best practices

Proven experience of Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, AWS Data environment (Lambda, Database migration services, Databricks, Redshift, .

and Tableau or similar.

Knowledge of a real time data reporting approach.

Retail, Warehouse and eCommerce experience

Analytical and intrapersonal intelligence.

Team management experience

Experience with Agile & Waterfall development methodology

English intermediate-high level is required
