On behalf of Ciklum Digital , Ciklum is looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join the Gdansk / PL team or Fully remote on a full-time basis. Brief project description :

Client develops radio and satcom systems to meet international and flag-state requirements whilst at the same time, acting as vital safety and operational tools.

Responsibilities

Requirements analysis and processing

Estimation of the testing activities

Test cases / checklists and other types of test documentation creation

Perform testing activities on one big or several small projects, communicate with developers and project managers

Test Summary reports preparation

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in QA area

Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum

At least 2 years of real working experience with Web-based and embedded projects

Understanding firmware development lifecycle

Proven experience with Linux software testing on embedded devices

Expertise with firmware update approaches and knowledge of hardware low-level flashing by ISP

Good experience in working with REST APIs

Understanding of HTML / CSS / JS

Experience with bash and Python to run and tune testing automation scripts

Excellent knowledge of bug life cycle

Excellent Jira skills

Upper-intermediate English communication skills

Good understanding of test design techniques

Service and teamwork orientation

Desirable

Experience with TFS, VSTS / Azure DevOps systems

Experience of using version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN)

Experience with testing and validation according to IEC 62923-1 and IEC 62923-2

BS + in Computer science or relevant
