What You'll Do

Your role will require analytical thinking and skills, business case development, and decision support for key projects coming from the Sales and Strategy Leadership Team.

Involves a collaborative aspect of finding solutions and connecting the dots in order to find a solution how to improve, optimize or create a window into what is happening inside the business and where the opportunities are.

Specifically, this will include :

  • Develop analytical insights using SQL / Python / Tableau.
  • Collaborate with other teams in order to align with the overall analytical pirates at the company level
  • Advise guide sales / non-sales users using analytics to create solutions.
  • Leading projects inside or outside the team cross-functionally.
  • Analytical working in an analytical environment where you will innovate and create new solutions involving state-of-the-art reporting and data development tools.

    Outside the box thinking will be an advantage.

    Business Requirements Working with the varying groups within Cisco to curate requirements, organise, prioritise and plan for the implementation within a logical storyboard built out in Cisco to connect all the different points into one story.

    Technical Design and implement solutions leveraging SQL, Tableau, Python, plus participate in the design and implementation of advanced / predictive data models to enable faster decision making and execution across the sales organization.

    Not all of these skills are mandatory, but the desire to learn more technically and have a technical aptitude is key.

    We are the Strategy, Planning and Operations team, reporting to the SVP of EMEAR Sales. Our mandate is to enable a rapid shift towards a data-driven decision-making culture across the sales organization by delivering digital insights and analytics at scale and embedding them in people’s everyday activities.

    To achieve our vision, we are on leveraging internal and external data sources to build a view of the health, strength, and gaps in the business, allowing our sales leaders to drive consistent and effective decision-making at scale.

    We work cross-functionally and partner with all teams, including Sales, Strategy & Planning, Customer Experience, Partner organisations or finance partners.

    Who You Are

    You are result-oriented with a data mindset , interested in working with a hugely diverse team with a plethora of skills, but have a strong ability to make complex things simple.

    You have skills from some of the below (not necessarily all), but most importantly you would like to develop in these areas and pick your thread which defines your future career :

  • You have knowledge of systems such as SQL, Python and have strong data wrangling / manipulation skills through BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Excel.
  • You can navigate existing solutions whilst adding your own touch and innovation

  • Machine Learning / Data Science experience is considered a plus.
  • You are an enthusiastic team player with a positive can-do attitude who is flexible and can collaborate effectively with different business functions to deliver a solution, working closely with Strategy & Planning, theatre leaders or analytics teams alike.
  • You are proactive and never wait for a challenge, you seek them.
  • You have the ability to work in a high performing, fast-paced environment on complex projects with tight deadlines
  • Your verbal and written communication allows you to clearly address both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You are able to Communicate developments and milestones effectively to a large group of stakeholders across the company
  • You clearly understand key financial concepts (Revenue, OpEx, Margin, Discount, etc.)
  • You have the ability to engage and execute across the business, analytics and IT to deliver a solution
  • You have a strong ability to see trends and data stories within raw data. Extracting the vision from what is otherwise obscure.
  • Your transparency and honesty allows you to understand when to develop on a DIY mode and when to delegate
