What You’ll Do
The IoT Network Consulting Engineer has preferably some technical understanding of the Operations Technology (OT) found in the environments of our industrial customers, and deep knowledge of traditional IT and security technologies.
Your duty will span from supporting reviewing existing Industrial Control System topologies, performing assessments and implementing the OT Insight solutions to protect their critical infrastructure.
You will directly support PDI engagements by implementing Cisco’s Solutions as well as leading the subscription type of projects.
Supporting the assessment of the security of existing designs, topologies, and network infrastructures
Support designing and leading deployment of OT Insight solution in a multi-vendor environments,
Design and perform automated testing of OT Insight Solution in Cisco’s Labs.
Lead teams of Junior Network Consulting Engineers - security professionals in large-scale security projects,
Work with a worldwide team on innovations of OT security services,
Ability to develop and present analysis, communicate results clearly at all levels of the business; including at senior management level,
Collaborate and support IoT Solution Architects,
Travel to customers (at times internationally) for workshops, implementations, reviews up to 30%.

Who You’ll Work With
You’ll be collaborating with IoT Solution Architects and partnering in consulting Cisco’s Customers. You’ll collaborate as part of global consulting team that supports industrial IOT customers to transform their legacy OT communications infrastructure into modern, secure architectures.
Past experience in Infrastructure Deployment and Design role spanning responsibility from supporting gathering business requirements to development of technological outcomes
Operational Technology experience / knowledge is plausible
Experience performing network and cybersecurity assessments including cybersecurity risk management and vulnerability assessments
Familiar with Network Segmentation concepts
Knowledgeable in automated testing for both infrastructure and software,
Familiar with different enterprise security vendor solutions
Knowledge and experience in Cisco security technologies
Experience of working in a technology-based role and interfacing to a varied number of internal and external stakeholders
Technical account liaison and customer management, consulting skills are mandatory.
English language proficiency
Familiar about industrial processes across industries such as Oil&Gas, Utilities, and Manufacturing is plausible
Familiarity with SCADA network technology such as Profibus and Profinet
Understanding of industrial automation theory, design, operations, and management
Familiarity about industrial protocols,
Good understanding of a full range of IP protocol suites and application protocols, including TCP / IP, ICMP, IGMP, SNMP, SSH, HTTP, FTP, SMB / CIFS, DNS, CDP, LLDP, DCE / RPC, PKI, TLS
Knowledge of systems from Yokagawa, Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Emerson, GE is plausible
Demanded knowledge of standards such as ISA-99 / IEC62443, NIST 800-82, NERC / CIP v5 and beyond, US-CERT, SANS 20 Critical Controls but not mandatory
System administrator-level knowledge in multi-user operating systems including Unix variants and Microsoft Windows
Experience in troubleshooting network security for enterprise customers
Experience with virtualization technologies including VMWare, OpenStack, and various hypervisors
Ability to conduct basic configuration and troubleshooting of IT systems
Understanding of Cisco networking technologies : ASA, IPS, WSA, ACS, ISE, VPN
Strong understanding of Cisco IOS
BA / BS degree with 5-8 years of IT and / or security experience
Vertical knowledge / experience in Oil&Gas, Manufacturing is welcomed
Demonstrate customer service, communications, troubleshooting skills
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, SANS GCIH
Cisco network certifications demanded as - CCNA Industrial or CCDA. CCIE R&S & Security are preferred
Experience with operations processes, such as ITIL, CMM
Experience in mentoring junior Engineers
