    Job Description

    The Krakow Video Solutions team is looking for a System Test Engineer to a newly formed team who will be working with multiple Avigilon products inc.

    different types of cameras, Avigilon Control Center, Avigilon Access Control Manager, Avigilon Cloud Services, mobile application.

    Our team works closely with Avigilon teams in Vancouver, Canada. We are looking for an open-minded, self-motivated person willing to pursue their ideas, evaluate alternatives and cooperate.

    Responsibilities include :

    Plan, design, document and perform tests for software and hardware products

    Identify, reproduce and report actual or potential product defects

    Provide detailed configuration, reproduction steps, and descriptions for defect tracking

    Assist product development engineers in the diagnosis and replication of product failures

    Develop, maintain and execute automated tests for software and hardware products

    Basic Requirements

    MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Automation, Telecommunication, Math, Physics or a related technical engineering discipline

    Minimum 1 year experience designing, writing and executing test cases

    Comfortable setting up and maintaining computer hardware, operating systems and networks to support testing

    Good understanding of networks fundamentals and networking protocols

    Communicative English

    Optional Skills

    Experience testing in both Windows and Linux environments

    Experience with C# / C++ / Python / Ruby or another scripting or programming language

    Experience in Web applications and Mobile Operating Systems testing

    Understanding of VM and Cloud technologies

    Knowledge with Docker and in CI / CD pipelines
