Your Role :

At SolarWinds, our mission is to build the best-of-breed observability products across multiple deployment and market spaces.

We are one of those companies who is hiding in the shadow, nobody knows it, but almost everybody uses our software. Our portfolio is build based on over 300 000 organizations, from small businesses through corporates and up to government organizations.

We are translating infrastructure and application metadata to human readable form. We are working on two lines of products, installed on-premise and cloud-based SaaS.

This job offer is related with on-premise solution.

This position is part of a newly setup Supportability team and will be ideal for you if you enjoy working with customers, understanding their pain-points and making improvements to streamline our customer support and product usage experience.

In this role you will be working with your team, product cross-functional engineering teams, support team and our customers to investigate and mitigate our product issues.

And you will be tasked with taking this on the next level creating tools and automation to make our work more efficient and design and implement in-product functionality to assist in this work and streamline the customer experience.

Your Impact :

  • Be part of an agile team that writes code, tests it, takes care of its high quality and maintenance
  • Work along our Support and product Engineering teams to investigate and fix customer reported problems
  • Identify, design and implement automation tools and features that will improve supportability of our products
  • Act as technical leader in the team, participate in growing other team member skills
  • Have strong focus on quality, performance, reliability and security of our software
  • Cooperate with other teams, in international environment, to ensure product and organization goals are met
  • Your Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of industry experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years of industry experience
  • Proficient in .NET (we use .NET Standard 2.0 and .NET 4.8) and JavaScript
  • Experience with C++, PowerShell, Angular, ASP .NET, TypeScript, Linux
  • Good MS SQL experience including troubleshooting of performance issues and basic configuration
  • Practical experience with debugging and troubleshooting software including analyzing logs and memory dumps
  • Good knowledge of Win system administration
  • Practical networking knowledge
  • General knowledge of Software Development processes and procedures
  • Experience with SCRUM
  • Good communication skills to participate on calls with customers
